We encourage our members and guests to treat each other with mutual respect. Do not use #Europe and *EuCrew to threaten, harass, stalk, abuse others or hack their accounts.

Chatting / General Conduct In #Europe and *EuCrew.

Avoid excessive shouting (use of all-caps) or flooding (continuous posting of repetitive text) in #Europe area or on our community (*EuCrew). Flooding is defined as any rapid or repetitive posting that interferes with other people's ability to converse.
Be considerate with your language, and don't be an annoyance to others. Limit the use of profanity. Racist Slurs, anti-Semitic or other derogatory remarks about philosophies and religions, as well as highly offensive and hostile remarks based on gender or sexual preference. This will result in a kick and/or ban from #Europe.
Threatening, directly insulting, or harassing your fellow chatters is prohibited and can result in an immediate ban from the chatroom.
Do not beg for comments or favorites on your work.
If you were banned, do not create multiple accounts and/or come in on your other existing accounts. You cannot avoid a ban. If you are caught doing so, you will be reported, and banned on all accounts.
#Europe is English only. Please refrain from speaking in other languages which comprise an entire conversation. This rule has been enacted to make moderation possible in all instances, as staff obviously cannot moderate a language they cannot understand. This rule will not be changed, so please do not complain.

Thumbs and emoticons.

We would prefere it if you wouldn't disturb the ongoing conversations with off topic thumbs or emoticons. But if you do, please know the following:
Since this is Deviantart, Thumbshare will be allowed but do not post the same thumb repeatedly over a short period of time. It is unfair for the other guests/members in the room.
Do not post an excessive amount of emoticons in one line, or repeatedly post emoticons line after line. "Emote spamming" slows down the room considerably.

Links

Do not post links which contain pornography (Mature deviations. Deviations in the artistic nude category excluded; however, pornographic images uploaded as deviations are not) or other dangerous content.
Do not post links which may contain viruses, links to pronographic images or text and links to your +devwatch or +favorite.

*Breaking any of the rules in this category will result in an immediate ban*

#Europe and *EuCrew Staff

#Europe reserves the right to terminate the promotion of any chatroom staff member at any time without notice for violation of these rules:

Abuse of any #Europe and *EuCrew privileges/tools may result in the immediate revocation of #Europe/*EuCrew staff status and may result in an immediate ban.
Do not kick/ban/demote a fellow staff member unless they have violated one of the #Europe rules. Consult another staff member prior to doing so, and if one is not available use your best judgement.
Please do not ask to be kicked from #Europe, simply close your tab or browser window.
All complaints and concerns must be directed to *EuCrew via a note. Commenting on, or noting a Founder's, Operator's, or Helper's personal account with your complaint will be ignored.

Keep it legal

We do not allow any illegal activities. We are not responsible for anything you say in the chatroom, or for any consequences that arise from what you say. If you break the law, you alone will be responsible for the consequences.
You cannot use #Europe and *EuCrew to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, sexual, or other unlawful material, images, text, or information.

We caution you against giving out personally identifiable information (such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, names and addresses, telephone numbers and driver license numbers) to strangers online, as this information may be used for illegal or harmful purposes
